We’re looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Digital Designer to join a growing in-house creative studio in Slough. This is a rare opportunity for someone starting out in the industry to get exposure to some seriously high profile and thoroughly enjoyable commercial projects. You’ll join a supportive team of likeminded people and be afforded training opportunities to develop your burgeoning creative skillset. Starting from humble beginnings this family run business has become one of the best known brands in its industry and you could be a part of it.
What you’ll be doing
Joining the digital outfit of this in-house studio you’ll focus on designing for a range of online media including (but not limited to) web design, email marketing, social media and digital advertising. You’ll work closely with the Senior Digital Designer to craft new and exciting experiences, getting involved in the production as well as concept work for a wide variety of briefs.
What experience you’ll need
As a Junior Designer we’re not looking for tons of experience here, it’s much more about the attitude of the individual and enthusiasm for the role. You might be a recent grad with a portfolio of University work, you could have completed a string of design internships or you could be working a creative role already and just looking for a change. Being a design position you’ll need to be well skilled in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and ideally have a digital lean in your portfolio. Any experience with HTML5 is hugely advantageous here as well as experience in Dotmailer and Amplience.
What you’ll get in return for your talents
In return for your talents you’ll join a family run business that has seen continued success over the years. Although much larger now than it’s humble beginnings they’ve maintained a fantastic working culture. You’ll get the opportunity to work on some amazing eCommerce and digital projects and be provided with some fantastic training opportunities. Salary is paying up to £25k for the right person.
To apply, please submit your CV and a portfolio / selection of work.
